Memorial Day Edition
Well, its been a while since I last wrote.
The last time I was doing this, I said I was going to Utah to wrestle for
the tag titles against the los Mochis. Well, that match went well; and
besides getting my head kicked into the seventh row, and taking the most
interesting version of the spanish fly, my partner and I overcame all odds
and captured the AWA/UCW-Zero tag team titles (oh yeah. I forgot to mention
also that my partner managed to get himself knocked out halfway through
the match and didn't know where he was til the next day!!). TEAM CLIMAXXX
rules!!! Yeah, but anyways, that was a fun match. As I have said before,
those Utah boys can work. I came back and wrestled with my partner here
in AZ, XXX Lawrence Tyler, who is an exeptional worker, against Mike James
and Jack Durango. Now, we came into this match at an advantage and they
came in at a disadvantage; namely, we were us, and they were Mike James
(his 2 or 3rd match), and Jack Durango, the cowboy from hell that LT and
I have both had the chance to wrestle on several occasions. He is great,
and we love him because he is the biggest punching bag ever! It is not
uncommon to say, hey Jack, wanna take something that might hurt to the
floor from the ring, or some such nonsense. And he'll say, Man you are
nuts. Okay, but make it look good even if you have to kill me! Nuff said
on that point. It was a fun, if somewhat hardhitting, match. Then I was
back off too Utah again for two days worth of wrestling. It was a Cinco
de Mayo festival, and me being a heel there, had to turn the heat on. It
worked. I am still pulling skittles and bottle caps out of places I had
no idea kids and grandmas could aim at. My first night was against UCW
Zero Champion Derrick Jannetty. This match I have to say was one of the
best I have had all year. We wrestled for about 25 minutes before he managed
to pin me with the sliced bread (yup, Spanky, he stole the move from you!).
My next night was against Los Mochi Paco. Now I complained to the promoter,
I beat him and his partner in the last show, won their belts, and now had
to wrestle him in front of 2000 screaming Mexicans? Ok, I wasn't really
complaining, just picking on Paco, but when we were done wrestling, I didn't
see anyone throwing bottles of Sangria at him!!! Back to AZ for the match
on Tuesday. This match was one that I was waiting for forever. XXX and
myself against the California Connection Peter Goodman and Antonio Mestre
for the IZW Tag titles. I have to say, this match was FUN!!! We 4 had the
crowd at the SETS on their feet the whole time, and after we won the belts,
and then had them stripped from us by the ref (who later that night turned
on Train as well and joined the Cali Connection, go to www.impactzonewrestling.com
for the whole story) I thought the crowd was going to rumble. They were
so ******* It was a great show. Of course that was good, but nothing beat
getting fired from the stripper club the next day because of being gone
on the road to much. That sucked. Oh well, but I had a match in two weeks
against Lil Nate for the Western States Heritage title! That is whats important
dammit!!! This was the first time Nate and I have faced each other since
I lost the title to him in Feb.. I have to say I love wrestling Nate. The
guy knows the business inside and out, and is not afraid to take certain
risks if the match and crowd call for it. Well, the crowd wanted us to
top what we did last time, and we didn't disappoint! After russian leg
sweeps to the concrete, hurancanranas to the outside floor, and me busting
the back of my head open hitting the ringpost on a missed spear (the only
thing I thought of when it happened was ****, I hope I didnt knock myself
out like Goldberg did in Germany!) we went home with Nate catching me with
a rollup reversal and the Sheik (Nate's Manager) holding my legs. It was
a great match, and I wish I hadn't cracked myself, cause it would have
been a lot better if i could see and stand straight for the last 5 or 10
minutes of it! Oh well, thats enough rambling, I'll see you all on the
flipside!!! Peace on Ya homies!!! Gallo

So how's it going? Took longer than expected
to get back online; the trials and tribulations of working part-time as
a bouncer at a strip club. I wanted to take this time to comment on a few
things.
1- if anyone was wondering about the new
pic on my homepage, and the farewell to the heat squad caption; the answer
is this. When we first started running IZW shows here in Phoenix, there
was a group of guys that did their best to have the best matches possible
and to raise as much hell backstage as one possibly could. Now, this wasn't
just confined to the IZW arenas; oh no, we took it all the way to SoCal
and UPW. We weren't trying to cause trouble really; it's just that nobody
had a sense of humor when we were around. Come on, there's nothing wrong
with filling a showerhead with ink or putting hot sauce in just the right
spot to make it squirt when you sit down (on the toilet. HA! HA!). Or when
someone (Frankie) keeps hiding the UPW tag straps and hockey sticks from
their owners at belltime. So this is my farewell to 3 of the 4 members
of the Heat Squad who finally made it to where they have always wanted
and should always have been, the WWE. Mike Nox, Frankie Kazarian, and Derrick
Neikirk. Congrats. It's been a long hard road to travel, and I am thankful
that we traveled it together for a time. Good luck in the WWE and don't
let anyone forget you!
2- Congrats to Big Jack Bull for getting signed
to WWE as well!
Off to UCW-Zero this weekend for Team Climazzz
(Myself and partner Tristen Gallo) to take on the UCW-Zero Tag champs the
Los Mochis. I am looking forward to this matchup and can't wait to raise
hell in Utah again. Then I'm back home on Sunday to work at Christies and
then off to the Sets once again for another IZW show. This show will be
interesting for the return of Killer Chris Kole, who is out working the
farm towns right now with the IZW Road Rage 2005 tour. He will be returning
for one night only before heading back to the Midwest were he's an active
competetor. All in all it will be a very busy week. Talk to you all later,
Peace out!

Lets see. My first commentary for my website.
I don't know where to start. Lets begin with Utah. Started wrestling for
Stevie Slick's AWA/UCW-Zero promotion recently. They are based in Slat
Lake City and are pretty much the only stable wrestling promotion in that
area. I went up there in Feb. to wrestle in a chain match against a kid
named Matt Kane. Claimed he was a worker from California. I'd never heard
of him, but was like; what the hell. Come to find out he had never been
trained before; kid didn't even know how to lock up. So that match was
pretty much a cluster. Besides my match; the rest of the card was great.
UCW is a good group of young and hungry guys. The talent level in the promotion
is amazing, these kids can work.
Since then I did part of the AZ leg of a three
week Gatorwolf tour. It was great being on the road again and I drove all
night after getting off work at the strip club i bounce at to be part of
it. The first night I wrestled Gator dressed up in a big mucha lucha suit
and calling himself Mutton Warrior. I was working as Prince Nasseem that
night; and the great Arabian Night that I am was quickly defeated so that
the savior of the Navajo People could put his cape on and zoom away to
sell gimmicks to the crowd.
Then I had to drive all the way home to Phoenix
to be at work on Wednesday. I get to work and am told that I could leave
at 10. So being all ****** off that they wouldn't let me have the night
off before; and I had driven all the way back down here and wasted my money
on gas, turned right back around and drove back up to Chinle. After avoiding
about 20 elk in the road, I managed to get to the hotel everyone was at
by 3:30 in the morning.
That night I worked Dusty Wolf as Doink and
then Gator, Dusty, and Navajo in the main. Once again the good guys went
over, crowd was happy enough even to by my gimmicks; even though I had
been insulting them only 5 minutes before. Then I was off to Casa Grande
to wrestle my buddy Steve Corino. Now somebody had decided to go and make
this a first blood match; and Steve and I were trying to figure out how
to make this one good. Well, we had the match and it turned out very good;
we went about 25 minutes before Steve went over by running my head into
a steel chair set on the top turnbuckle. All in all it was a good end to
a nice run, and working guys like Corino and Dusty really made the trip
worth it. After that match we all went back to phoenix, where Corino and
I proceeded to order half the Denny's menu (Steve, I think she knows!!!).
I have to get ready for work now; so I will finish this commentary later
on tomorrow, or whenever I get back online! Peace out people! Gallo
